ABOUT SHAUNNA
The daughter of a police officer and a nurse, Shaunna Elias grew up in San Dimas with her parents and three siblings. From a young age, Shaunna learned the value of honesty, integrity, and strong family values. These core values guide her both personally and professionally to this day. Shaunna studied psychology and business at Citrus College and Cal Poly Pomona and worked in an executive management role in advertising/marketing before transitioning to a career in residential real estate.
In 2022, Shaunna entered the political discourse by running for a seat on the GUSD Board of Education. While she came up just a few votes short of a win, Shaunna learned invaluable lessons about civic engagement and community advocacy. She was honored to earn the endorsement and support of multiple city council members, former Glendora mayors, the Glendora Police Officers Association, the San Gabriel Valley Examiner, countless Glendora teachers, and hundreds of Glendora residents. When the opportunity presented itself to revisit political engagement, Shaunna was excited at the opportunity to be a voice for her friends and neighbors who love their community, support family values, and want a less politically divisive climate in Glendora.
Shaunna lives in Glendora with her husband and two sons. Her boys attend Glendora schools and participate in Glendora’s youth sports programs. In addition to being a full-time real estate agent, Shaunna volunteers at her kids’ schools, is an active PTA board member, and volunteers with Soroptimist International, and Meals on Wheels, a program she helped her grandmother with as a child. In her spare time, Shaunna enjoys watching her kids play sports, spending time with her family, and visiting her husband’s family in Canada.
